I'm there. I will be waiting for the gates to open. JP00SS from this board will be coming down with his lightly modded Camaro SS with d/r's. I just hope that it is not too crowded. If you think you might hit 13's then bring a helmet. And wear long pants.

Mike dont worry about it, they wont say anything until after you pull a 13.X. If your running with the 19s ya prolly wont break 13x at that track. Trust me, its pretty screwed up.

yeah I donno, but they check I went with CLS last time, went to tech and they told me to go down to walmart and buy a pair of pants if I wanted to race. at that point the line to get back in was a half mile long 4 lanes wide no joke.

the place was just WAY too crowded. dont think Id go back there anyway, bad traction too from what I hear.

place far down south is way better, but the name escapes me now, but its like 3+ hours from atlanta vs 90minutes. but it was much better IMO, much smaller, but it had what it needed.

 

I've heard its got low traction, but its on the NHRA tour, so it can't be that bad. What do relatively stock Zs run here?

 

Yeah, I dont know why they make you wear long pants. Wadd is right, if you hit 13's once then they say you need a helmet or you will get kicked out. But, if you think you will be close then bring on. That would suck if you hit 13.xx on your first run. I have heard that it is not a great track, but I dont feel like driving to Silver Dollar and all my times will be relative to each other. 2003Z I have only run there when my car was stock and my best was a 14.112. I am hoping to break into the 13's tonight.

That should be it. Just get there early because it gets crowded. If you get through tech early then you might get a couple runs in while everyone else is waiting in line. I plan on being there at 5:45-6. I have to meet my friend at chick fil a first.

 

What a blast, even though my best time was 14.61. CLS and I ran each other 3 times, with him bettering me each time.

Yeah Mike, I had a good time. I wish I could drive better and hit the shifts but it was fun. My best time was 14.26 and that was my first run. I think it was a slow night for everyone though. We need to go back when it is cooler.

 

Yeah, nice to meet you Mike I am really glad everyone was running slow and not just me . We will have to do it again when it gets cooler.
