To all Friends of AudioPat
I just got an e-mail this morning from Pat's wife Susie. In it she told me that our very own AudioPat will be undergoing surgery. She mentioned "open heart" surgery and I assume she meant a cardiac bypass surgery. His surgery is either today (Thurs) or tomorrow, I wasn't sure from her mail.
Susie wanted me to pass this along to all of the Z community.
I ask everyone who knows Pat to say some special prayers so that our friend gets through this and does well.
I wrote Susie back and I'll await her reply. I'm sure her thoughts are with Pat right now so I'm not sure when I'll get more information but if and when I do, I'll be sure to pass it along to all.
Thanks.

Even though you posted one too many "look how nice SoCal is in the winter" photos, I hope you get better soon! j/k. Your thread about driving Jay's Z was probably the best one I've ever read on this site.
All the best Pat.

Last November, the day after I picked up my Z actually, Pat arranged for a visit to the Tonight Show for my wife and I when we were down in LA for a wedding (Pat is the sound engineer for the show). Just an email to him and he arranged everything, tickets and a tour with him backstage after the taping.
I had never met Pat before and our "relationship" was through my 350Z.com. What a wonderful gentleman, going out of his way for us. He met us before the taping then again after making us feel as if we were his best friends in the world. That is a classy man. He is not without his quirks, though. He did not drive his car to work that day because it was supposed to rain. Being from Seattle I thought that was rather different.
Good luck for a successful surgery and speedy recovery, Pat.

Gosh,
Pat and Susie, I wish for you to have a good outcome for this sudden surgery.
AudioPat,
when you have recovered, and the next time I am back visting L.A., I will take you out to The Hat for some Pastrami and Chili Cheese Fries... or maybe just a salad.

My prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery Pat.
I don't know Pat personally, but my dealings with him when I bought his "Zee-Bracket" was nothing short of pleasureable. He is truly an enthusiast and a classy gentleman.
Here's to a great Z enthusiast. Godspeed recovery.
