FINALLY! Dealer just called -- it's locked away with all the tape still on, waiting for my arrival. If I weren't working on a pretty touchy situation with a client today, I'd be over there right now -- as it is, I probally won't be able to pick it up until tomorrow....

grrr....

Anyway, I'll post pic's if anyone's interested, of me smoking the tires on the way out of the dealership! j/k

Got no probs letting chicago area z fans check it out -- you can even swing by the house and get a better look and "feel" for it (we can swing it around the block a few times).

I'll repost in a couple hours with the dealership after I've finished working out the financing with them (it wasn't supposed to arrive for another week or two). Not that I don't trust the esteemed members of this forum, but I don't want anything to "tempt" the dealer away from the MSRP sticker I got it for.

Hope you kooks understand! Like I said, I'll repost with the dealer info before the end of the day!

 

There is nothing the dealer can do, you have first rights to that car, you have a contract with them. They can't sell the car to anybody but you, unless you turn it down. So please, please, please, tell us the name of the dealership.

The dealership is Star Nissan on Touhy Ave just west of Cicero (ok, not technically chicago -- but niles is close enough! ) -- I'm still dealing with a nasty client issue so I won't be able to pick it up until tomorrow, but I had them take the tape off and clean it up.

It's a silverstone 6MT touring -- i'm not sure if it's available to see, but you can try -- just don't get your nose and fingerprints all over it!

Oh, also -- i got no problems hooking up with some of you chicago z-fiends if you want to check it out. i'll post again sometime tomorrow after I pick it up.

 

Just called Gerald Nissan and they say they don't have a Z yet.

I stand corrected!! They have one in Naperville but not at the North Aurora location. sorry..................
