Whatsup,
i was planning on buying the 08 350z in a month or so and then i came across the evo 9 and i was amazed on what it was capable of.
now i drove the 03 z befor in a testdrive and the 2 could not compare
but i no that the 07 08s have the new engine and can produce much more power and fun..
in your opinions
can the 07/08 350z take the evos and the stis? in races
im a fairly good driver so im just talkin about can the car keep up wit hthese and to those who own the 350z is it a fun car for daily driven?

I think the 07-08 350z is going to be more reliable than an evo. However you can probably get an Evo much cheaper.

Also you are comparing AWD to RWD

I was in the same situation as you about a year ago, and picked the 350z because I thought it was a superior product.

However I have driven the Evo X MR and I loved it. However I feel it was a little underpowered and wish it came with a 6 speed manual transmission.

Just drive both cars, whatever you like is the one you should get. Simple as that.

 

5 sp tranz on the evo is faster than the 6 sp tranz FTW.
I love my GF's EVO ix. Stock vs Stock is pretty close. Once you start adding to the FI it will take a Z. If you spend mucho dinero and FI the Z it will take the Evo depending. But i can say this EVO's still hold their damn value and are pretty much still high in price to buy. Z's are dropping.
