You took this like a man and acted like a man. Car looks good. I've been in a situation similar with about $1,200 in damage aswell, so I somewhat feel the pain right with ya. Keep your eyes peeled and stay away from trashy chicas. G/L with everything.

I hope insurance took care of your claim in a timely manner and that there is enough evidence to press charges and receive some sort of settlement from her to at least cover your deductible. That is ridiculous.

I had an ex-girl friend steal my car.. but since i heard the car start up ... i called the cops 5 mins later the dispatch called me back and got the car.. and see her in the back of the police car was Awsome .. the end!... your situation sucks more.. your shiznits is f'ed up
