Hey guys.
My younger brother want to buy a new car and he still deciding to go with G35 or 350Z.
Since I am Z driver < 2006 Track Black >, I love Z and I want him to buy Z too. i says many good thing about Z like it lighter weight , better handling etc. But he says it not so much different. When he asked me why do you think Z is better than G ......... I cant think of any good reason.
So what you guys think ? Why Z better than G ? I will try to convince him to be Z driver as us.


Ps. He tried both car and say it not different.

 

If your brother likes the G35, let him get one.

 

Break his legs. That way he'll learn to respect his older brother. That should teach him.

 

don't take this too seriously, its an internet forum:

maybe your brother is a bit more practical. or plays hockey like me in which case he might carry some baggage once in a while.

he could have more than 1 friend.

maybe he likes that the rear bumper isn't designed completely around a license plate and the taillights are styled second to maybe the gtr.

perhaps the interior is classier and he prefers paint matching door handles.

could it be that he's a long fast sweeper kind of guy so high speed stability is more important than autox so he appreciates the slightly longer wheelbase

maybe he wants to have a car that isn't at every red light.

finally, he may not want to have the same car as his brother.

 

if he's going to track it, then Z is better for everything. if he's thinking a sport 2 doors, then G35 coupe is the way to go. there isn't much difference between the two for a DD. and at the end, it's a personal reference.

 

G35 is a nice luxury sport coupe cool as shi% and 90% of what a ZX car is and 10% of what it would like to be. The G35 has classier interior and has back seats and trunk.

The Z is a two seat Sports car, with Sports car interior, no back seats or trunk but rather a hathback. As a Sports car the Z is 90% of what the G35 wants to be and 10% of what the G35 should be.

Both are really nice options of each other. I like the G35 coupe and drive the Z car. Nothing bad to say about either.

Consumer report rates the G35 slightly higher overall.

 

 

let the man decide for himself. no use in forcing him to buy a Z when it seems as if his heart is set on the G.

Before, if you wanted to look more baller, you got a G35. Now, both cars are about to be dated. There is the G37 coupe and in January, we'll have a 370Z. Honestly, it doesn't matter now. Just make sure he's not one of the people that thinks that the G35 is faster b/c it cost more new. I get that a lot. "Why didn't you get a G35... they're faster." Same motor, heavier car. No.

 

just show him how much you can do with the money difference between a Z and G. a nice bassani exhaust, tint, maybe some entry level sound system or used indash

 

Your brother should get the G35, the Z and G are brothers so why not you 2 have the brother cars? hmmmm?

 

Let him get the G35 and you guys can drive each other's cars every once in a while. Win win.

 

Only time i wish i had a g35 is when i have 2 or 3 btches with me. other then that, I love my Z

 

Have him look at the ZR. If he has the $$ for the G, a ZR can't be much different $$ - and hey, it's a roadster!

I work so hard in order to buy this 06 Track Z with my own money. But he going to borrow Mom and Dad some money to buy his car and then pay them back later < He doesn't do any job yet >.

Last year I was asked the same but they wont allow me to ...... suck a fair !!!

Look like now he want a better car than I am. 2006 Track with the Lower mileages, all Nismo upgrade , mint exterior and more expensive.

Such a spoiler kid !!!!!
