I get lots of compliments by citizens almost every time I take mine out. The only attention I've received from police was the ticket I got in Massachusetts for going 80 on 495 south back in 2006. My car was only 1 month old. It was a beautiful day (up until then) and my car looked gorgeous (as it still does).
Since then, I've installed a laser jammer and the last time I went through Mass., my jammer alert went off and about a 1000 feet down the road, there was the cop hiding in the bushes. He just looked at me. I love my Laser Park Pro!

Never been pulled over and have a little over 21,000 miles on the car. Don't know if its because of my age but the cop wouldn't know anything about that until he got close. Do get a lot of compliments about the car.

^ lol i caught that too.
Ive been pulled over once in the Z for rolling stop sign and got a warning.
I have 5% tint as well. Do i think it draws more attention yes, negatively no not really. I got pulled over more in my silverado SS then i have in my Z. Cops around here arent as bad as most places though. I was next to a cop the other day at a stop light windows up and 5% tint figured he was gonna pull me over but nope he just casually kept goin.

My expensive Escort Passport radar has saved me a few times, in the Titan also though. I do attract alot more police eyes in the Z. Was pulled over 3 times in the Titan, never got a ticket. They were wolf paking and DUI checking. Never been pulled over in the Z. But the police have followed me around town on 1 occassion. I actually took them for a spin around town. I pulled Uies, drove a randon street pattern and doubled back twice to be sure, they followed the whole time. Even stopped in a parking lot space and then left 1 min. later. They still followed. It was weird and funny at the same time. They finally broke it off when I pulled into the Police Dept. parking lot, which was on the way home. I never went in, I was out on a nice day, Sunday driving anyways. Wish I had a video camera that day.
It was almost like they were waiting for me to do something wrong. They were not tailing close, but at a distance, always 3 to 4 cars back. These newer police cars that are Navy blue and have low profile light bars are hard to catch out of the corner of your eye or with a quick glimpes in the mirror. The Passport let me know the whole time though.

Yesterday I was heading home driving the speed limit. I just got my Z so i have no plates yet. There was a Boxster in the other lane a few car lengths back and he was gaining on me, local PD pulled him over for speeding I assume, but I have gotten no LEO attention even running no license plates. I see how the Z will stand out more say.. next to a soccer mom mini van, but more often than not its the driver that attracts the police, not the car.

I got my first ticket ever back in August when I was driving back up to Portland from Los Angeles in my Z. Other than that Oregonian Police don't bother to follow me.
The officer told me I could do traffic school online, but the court sent me a statement saying that I could not. The ticket was only $155 for going 75 in a 65. He said he clocked me going 85 and I told him I was going 75-80. This douche in a corvette was speeding towards us and the cop stood right in front yelling and told the guy to pull over too, oh great hope he will get the ticket. But no, he tells the Corvette driver I know you got a fast car and everything but slow down and let him go. Then he comes over and says "thanks for being honest with me about your speed so I put 80." And in my head I was like so the ****er lied about how fast he clocked me? Also, he got my age wrong (apparently he doesnt know math), and said I had a californian drivers license.
BTW, here in Oregon I hear its over $200 for the speed I was going
