Default does the Z draw alot of police attention

i was never pulled over before i had my Z, ever. since i have had it i was pulled over 3 times, two tickets too. i have been told that my car looks fast when it drives, or that it sounds like i'm always going fast when i am not. do you find these things to be true about your Z. i give cops my PBA cards, and they ignore them. tonight i got a ticket for doing 40 in a 25 when the cop was coming head on toward me out of a turn, he barely even saw my car before he decided to pull me over. i also know for a fact i was not doing 40 because of the digital display in the car. the fastest point i reached was 30mph. do you find its true that the Z attracts cops to you?

Unknowledgable people think my 3g Eclipse is fast. I was pulled over second night of having it. Registration. Then another time for "amplified exhaust".

Sporty looking cars and true sports cars are big targets.

i feel that cops don't bother me as much as if i had another car... like my mustang i would get pulled over everyday for no lisences plate...

with the z i have had no liscnes plate and been pulled over before and they don't even mention it..

I don't believe so personally... Now, nice cars do in fact draw lots of attention, whether it be good or bad, but not in any way limited to the Z. Bottom line, if you don't give 5-0 a reason to pull you over regardless of what you are driving whether it be a lambo or a pinto, technically you wouldn't have anything to worry about right...??? Just my .02.

Not really, I've had cops and CHP tail my car for a couple blocks, then they just go their way after a while. I also don't have front plates either, so they probably don't care. I guess my advice is when's there a cop around you, drive slower than usual and a bit under speed limit, works for me. Had the Z for 4 months and haven't gotten pulled over yet.

Flashing a PBA card to me will definitely lower any chances of anyone getting a warning.

The car doesn't, aggressive driving does.

along with having stuff like illegal tint on tail lights or excessively loud exhausts

I was pulled over twice in the first six months after I bought my '06 Xterra.

I haven't been stopped at all since purchasing the Z.

I doubt the car itself is any kind of "target" for LEOs . . .

the guy should of at the least honored the officer who gave you the pba card and gave you a warning. Maybe even taken the card.

I get pulled all the damn time. But thats because i think im mario andrette. it's all in how you speak to the officer that will get you out of a ticket.

Cops stare at me (sometimes even give me a nod), but I have never been pulled over.

Not at all. It's the person behind the wheel that draws the attention.
