tailed a cop on the highway going 80 in a 70... somehow dude got behind me and started tailing me... kept up 80, he turned off eventually.

was at a stop sign once and jumped off the line ahead of everyone else. Two cops were waiting in traffic going the other direction, they gave me the quick siren, like a reminder.

been going way way over the speed limit, cresting a hill and seeing the cop pointed the other direction. We both saw each other but hey, he was pointed in the wrong direction.

love to take right hand turns, rev match, and take it strong with no skidding.. saw cops waiting in the opposite direction a bunch of times, watching me like a hawk cause duh you can hear the bad boy coming, what could they do, by time i rev match i am below the speed limit with no skidding.

seen undercovers behind me all the time, but i aint no fool, i wana live to be 103... always pick them up on the radar detector, go belltronics

never once got a ticket, if i ever did i would call it karma, i deserved to have my license taken away. Early morning like 2am or donuts in back roads or or or......

What's your point? We're talking about if Zs are the reason why cops pull you over/attracts attention, you're talking about events after getting a ticket. Maybe explain to us events before it? Like why you got pulled over in the first place?

I've been pulled over once, but I was driving thru a ghetto neighborhood for shortcut, I guess it's reasonable for them to suspect my car as a stolen... apparently I didn't get any ticket cuz I did nothing wrong (xcept driving thru the ghettos)... so yes, the Z does get more attention but like someone mentioned in this thread, if you have done nothing wrong, why worry about being pulled over?

Hardly any problems here, city cops have much bigger things to worry about.

I got pulled over in my Z going through town at 20 mph. When I stopped and the cop came to my door he said, " I just wanted to take a look at this car..WOW,,,,NICE. Where did you get it, how fast does it go? How much was it, etc. etc. etc. THen, he took his walk all the way around it and said....MAN...NICE CAR and sorry I had to pull you over to look at it. Later!

Does the Z draw a lot of police attention?

Depends on the color and or the persons driving habits in the Z.

Or if the cop at hand didn't get laid the night before and wants to be a D1CK!

(Here in New Brunswick NJ a loud exhaust will get you busted)

LOL - You are so right. I grew up in Chicago and never got pulled over by the police downtown. I thought I was just lucky.

average $45k a year. show me where a high school kid makes that much money during the summer.

anyway back on topic. cops onlyu bother with you if you are making yourself noticable. it is not one specif type of car or anythign like that. it is the driver and their habits first, then whatever is doen to the car to make it stand out. we have a rash of those stupid donk cars around town, driven by obvious gang bangers. never once have i seen one of those pulled over. it is always the soccer mom with the SUV i see getting tickets around here.

No driving a Z doesn't attract more attention than other cars. I've had my Z for 2 years now.

When I drive like an idiot (driving 10-20mph over), I get pulled over. But I've learned my lesson and drive speed limit and respect traffic.

Cops don't pay much attention to me when I take the Z out but I noticed they would rather harass the honda crowd around here...

The car made him do it, it's too fast and he couldn't see the red light.

There are about 10-12 other Z's that i have seen in my area and aren't that common, so I would imagine i could be a fair target, but i drive sensibly, i don't speed too often and i barely drive at night, so i guess that helps.

My funniest cop story was when I was entering Allentown, PA. I was sitting at a red light and a cop car was in the lane next to me a little ahead of me, the cop in the passenger seat kept looking back at me, mind you cops always make me nervous i had turned down my stereo, made sure my seat belt was on and came to a complete stop before the white line, i haven't had much luck with cops in the past...

So the cop that kept looking over rolled his window down, and i looked at him and was like what's up? He said "will you please wave at the knuckleheads behind us before they break their necks?"

I was like "what?" and turned around and saw 2 guys in some car creeping up the cops rear end to try to get a look at me and my car. One of the guys opened his window and waved at me and started yelling stuff at the cop, couldn't see what the guys looked like though, the sun was in my eyes but it was really funny, and i got a wink from the cop as the light turned green
