Nice cars abound
People from the DC area will know the location I'm talking about here... non-locals, you don't need to know the geography to follow along...
I went out today to meet some friends, about a 1/2 hour drive one way from Falls Church to Sterling, VA, on Rt 7/Leesburg Pike. It was a nice sunny day, and the drive takes me through Tysons Corner, the biggest, fanciest shopping and business area in the region. Some call Tysons "DC's Main Street".
Anyway, I saw three awesome cars and it made me drool thinking about my new Z.
First, a new M3, silver, going the other direction into Falls Church. Surprisingly, this is the first E46 M3 coupe I've seen in the area. The E36 M3's are as common as Miatas around Tysons Corner, but the new ones have been hiding from me.
Further on my way out to Sterling, at the stoplight at Baron Cameron in Reston: a black Ferrari Testarossa. These might be more common in So Cal, but not so much in DC!
Coming home, headed west out of Tysons was a red 360 Spider!
Damn! Why were they all going the opposite direction? I only got a glipse of each, and didn't get to hear the engines.
Come on, August!

Know what you mean! I live in Reston. We really are terribly spoiled when it comes to the cars we see on a daily basis. Especially anytime you drive through Tysons.
Heck, just driving through Tysons II parking lot seems like an auto show at times!
