Default The Tranny Problem...

I drive my Z hard as heck and have already put 12000 miles on it...

I dont hear grinding??

but some times when i go to down shift like when i have slowed down from being in 5th gear and put it in 2nd to start accelerting again (even if to accelerate slow) i have to push relaly hard to get into second and hear a sound like something spooling up?

is that the sound you guys are talking about?

is something wrong with my lil z?

besides that it drives great...

i think im very good with my clutch as to when i engage and release it...

Mine does that. I would guess its normal. It does not do it if I downshift through the gears. It does not do it if I "double clutch" from 5th to 4th. SO I bet its just the synchro speed from 5th to 2nd not allowing it. Just guessing.

if i double clutch it does it...

i generally dont down shift when slowing down... id rather kill the stock breaks and replace those then replace the clutch...
