there are not many around my town and every time i am out around here i get stares from people walking, in cars etc... definitly a car that turns heads... i've owned a Vr-4 spyder, a z-3 roadster, and now The Z and nothing turns heads or leaves an impression quiet like this car!

My friend had known that I was interested in the car, but I hadn't actually told him that I was really going to buy it. A few days after I received it, I drove down and parked it in his apartment parking lot. I went up stairs and say, "Holy crap, somebody downstairs has the new Z!" So of course we had to go down and look at it. His eyes nearly fell out of his head when I surreptitiously hit the unlock button. HA! I can't believe it's almost been a year.

I've had a longer relationship with this car than with any girlfriend I've had. Actually, a more fulfilling one than some of them.

As it is, the Z is becoming way more popular. I still get a few looks, but nothing like the "old days."

I pulled into the gas station for the first time and lo and behold there were two guys in ther S2000 with drive-out tags. I pulled in ahead of them and they were oogling my car. Then an older man comes up while I'm still trying to park and asks if I mind if he looks at it, two guys from Sams come over to gawk, another guy gets out of his car to come over and look and in the meantime, the 2 guys in the s2000 pull up beside me while I'm still refueling and deflect my complements on their car (I first considered the s2000) and said "no, no, no..your car, man, that car is it, this one, no, your car, yes yours(they were asian). Unreal. Oogling to that scale happend the second time I went in to refuel..."what is it", "it's beautiful", etc. etc. This car is the bomb...going down the road...stares, finger pointing, thumbs up...I've never experienced this. It's amazing, and fun!

I've had a lot of nice cars but nothing has drawn the attention that the Z has which is pretty cool considering it's a 30K car. I can't think of another car under 50K that draws this much attention.

I have noticed that the Mini's draw a lot of attention especially where I live because we don't have a Mini dealer.

What can I say...If people's stares could be the arrows, I would be a straight-out hedgehog by now
