I have just recently started thinking about selling the Z. But it would be ridiculous. It's the responsible part of me saying you don't need 2 vehicles. I got it in March 08 (it's an 08). If I had waited one more month to buy it I wouldn't have. It's already more than 1/2 paid off already. I already have a 04 payed off Titan. I just look at the Z or drive it, or someone says how sweet it is, and I say NO! Gonna keep it.
But when I have to jocky cars around in the driveway and street, or I am feeling like I should be saving more money, I say sell both vehicles and get one. It's just wants and needs dookin it out.

It is nice to have a second car when one is in the shop for maintenance. It's kinda cool to have the undercover car (Z) that not alot of people know I have. Undercover as far as they don't realize it's mine, not that it isn't noticed. And with gas way down, it's nice to not sweat the gas pump any (at least for now).

yea...well I'm selling my car and all the parts off it now. I bought a moderately cheap car to use for now...most of my car is paid off, but its just I really want to save up to buy an apartment. And for an AVERAGE apartment here about 600sq ft. its about $300,000...so I gotta pool all my money...plus my Z was such a waste, I barely drove it...

Anyways here is a link to my for sale ad: https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-tire...ng-my-car.html

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like a rich guy with no problems, believe me I am not. Just trying to explain that even if I can afford it, I feel guilty sometimes for having it.
If/when money, job, housing changes the circumstances I would make the same decision if I had to. If I had to keep only one car, it would be my truck.

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. If you can keep it then keep it. If you have to get rid of it to take care of your other priority, then do it. No one is paying for your housing and other bills so how can they judge you in selling it. The car will always be there when the economy is whipped back into shape. Probably when you are ready to get back into the Z, you might be looking at the 370z instead of the 350z. You can get a 2nd job, but we all know that it's only a short-term solution. Get your financial problem situated or under control, then get back into the game when you are ready. Many members here are getting on the people selling their Z's because we just miss you as a member here.

I thought about selling our Z ,but the problem is that by the time we got it paid off its not worth anything vs. what it cost new ,besides it just turned 5k,
might as well keep it now !.

I know I will lose out on the mods and the car, I don't mind that...its just I love the car so much...and its so beautiful...but with car insurance costing almost 2,000 a year (I'm at max discount)...And this week I'm moving about 5 blocks from where I work and where I gym....so a car isn't even necessary...and I'm actually living with my gf now...whom we can share a car with too, cause she works really close to me as well...but ...I love my Z
ohh, man.....i feel ya, but you dont want to have that feeling of regret. once its gone, ITS GONE. homeboy i know did the samething with his ride and he regrets the decision all the time. with knowin all the mods he's done to it, made him wish he never got rid of it, even for finacial reasons. goodluck, man.
