Black Z at Classic Nissan in Orlando
It shows up today. I'm gonna go look at it if I get there before the buyer does because I haven't seen one in person yet.
Who's is it??? Anybody here?

Don't know the time. It's a Super Black base model.
I just talked to Jose.
He confirmed it. Still no time.:
But he says I got a VIN.
My wife said when she talked to the service guy he said they'd all be in by the 4th.
And Jose said they'd be in soon.
Man, I'm so excited I'm not even literate
Z CRAZY
I bought mine there as well. (If you couldn't tell from the previous post)
Did you get a Z from Classic too?
How do you think they'd respond to us lurking on their lot until we spot a Z?
Jose hasn't called me back yet. I figure I'll have to call him.
He had originally told me to expect it on around Sept 29.

I tried to order one from Classic back in February. At that time, they were not sure of a price but thought they would be charging about $10k over sticker. I ran like the wind and ordered it elsewhere. Obviously, when Nissan cracked down on these excess charges by dealers for pre-orders, Classic dropped their price back to MSRP (I think). I hope that's all you paid.
I would have preferred to buy it at Classic as I have purchased previous cars there but ended up ordering a Track in Longwood.
I went by there yesterday to see if it had come in and spoke with Jose. He didn't sound too thrilled that I just wanted to look at the car, but so what. He doesn't need to protect the car for the buyer from me so I will show up today after work to see if I can take a look at it. I don't need to "touch", just wanna look.

We bought ours at the end of Feb. We got as far as the paperwork when my wife jerked their leash.
She said we would only pay MSRP. They balked, we walked.
They call an hour later.
We got it for MSRP.
Guess Jose figured a bird in the hand was worth two in the bush.
Their service department is good, and friendly. Only reason we went there.
My wife gets whatever she wants these days.....

Prices are set by the dealer. Nissan does not "crack down" on pricing. They have nothing to do with it. The selling price is determined by the dealer and market conditions.
Classic Nissan probably lowered their $10,000 addendum price because their customers were going to Merritt Island to order at MSRP.

I'm not a big fan of car dealers in general. But most seem to have figured out that they need to be nice to their customers.
I've been treated very nicely at Car Max, Ford, and Chevrolet.
Nissan dealers haven't gotten that clue.
They'll treat you decently if you happen to be dealing directly with them. But they are just plain rude if you're not. Come to think of it they can be pretty rude while you're dealing with them too.
