new member introducing myself
Hey guys!
Been lurking here for a week or so. Thought I would join and introduce myself. Name is Brandon. I don't drive a Z yet. I have seen some literature on the 370 comin out soon and was intrigued. As of right now, I drive a 2006 Subaru WRX STi. It is tuned right now with a turbo back exhaust, intake, injectors, fuel pump, ported and polished stock manifold, turbo inlet, and boost solenoid. On a conservative tune and bad gas, I made 320 whp and 320 tq. Before tune, my best run down the 1/4 was a 12.7. I like it but have been considering a change of scenery. We dont get very bad winters here in va anymore anyway. Well guys just wanted to introduce myself.
heres some pics for ya

thanks for the welcome guys. Dont worry. Those pics were taken a long time ago. The car has since been cleaned inside out and it took quite a few to get all that mud off. Ah well. Lesson learned. But it was fun while it lasted. Dont worry. I have read the 100 common questions and I hopefully wont be asking a bunch of stupid questions. I know exactly how to use the search button.
Wow you're seriously ridding your STI?! Sad... :-(
Maybe you should test drive the 370Z first. If you plan to slap twin snails with a tune of at least 450WHP (look up GT Motoring turbo kit for the G37), more power to you sir. However, you might miss AWD with all this power ;-)

I will definitely be test drivin one before I make my decision. I have read enough to know that it probably is not gonna feel anything like my sti. Right now its just a consideration. After I drive one, then I will know more about which way I am leaning. I would really like to keep both, but nah. Awd is definitely something I would love to keep, but the only time it really comes in handy with the way the weather has been the past few years is at the track. Gotta love those 1.6-1.7 60 ft times!

Welcome to the club. One of my sons would love to own an STI. My other son and I are Z owners.. Take your time and look at the 370 and even the 350's or the G coupes.. good luck in your search.
