i think 17k is damn good... you have to understand its modded, for some who do not have the same tastes as you this is a negative, plus its changed from stock - price drops, doesnt matter if it cost you to make it look "good". Youve chenged the way it came out of the factory....
Its also a 2003 model...
Mileage, however, is pretty low...

AND THE BIGGEST FACTOR, the economy...
People arent in the market, people are struggling and no ones going to cough up over 20k for a show car (this is soley my opinon and not a fact, there may be a buyer for this car at 20k or 30k or even 100k - its a matter of how likely something is)...

Goodluck with the sale however.

Hold onto it a few more months while economy straitens out and companies rebudget themselves. After all the dust settles and things flatten out people may be looking to spend money again. Also wouldn't hurt to wait till after that 4th fast and the furious hits the theater ....... plenty ricers would love to buy the bling at that point.

As far as the car sale price i would think like everyone else, about 17k to sale fast, 25k if you can sit on it awhile. Its an 03' sure its got low miles but your competing against HR motors and the soon to be ugly 370z. an 03 in houston with standard miles for the year is selling around 9 to 12k.

thanks for posts guys

i will keep car until economy gets better and people are spending again- maybe then i'll see what happens...

The car does mean a hell of a lot to me, and if i keep it i plan on modding it extensively- want to try and beat Alex's 760HP 420zTT lol- aim high

Although when i think about how much money that will be i think i could just buy a GTR or something in that range... so i confuse myself again lol

so people are generally saying that a stock 2003 350z with 60k miles is worth more than mine because ive modded it?

keep in mind that 2003's with 60k-80k are selling for $18k-$22k up here in Vancouver...

I HIGHLY DOUBT its going to take a "few months" for the economy to get better. From my research (I'm a grad student) its going to take years guys, and 2009 is going to be worse.

I would hang on to that cash for those volks.

keep it man you won't get what it's "worth", aka the cost of the mods. good luck finding an enthusiast that is willing to pay extra for mods. : (

Honeslty thats what it is, you region is very important too. In Cali (southern) theres no way it would sell above 15k, however it differs in other regions.

Whatever you do with it goodluck. Just know that you are pretty blessed to be in this situation... Just trying to point out the positives that you had an opportunity to even drive that car, let alone modify it and have the option to sell it. So goodluck.

The economy is'nt going to get any better.
Matter of fact it's going to get much much worse.
Before it shows any sign at all of getting better.
