I have had it since November.. he wouldnt respond to me and paypal said atleast i recieved something....

 

This is probably the time he'll claim that the comp he sold was hacked into... because majority of the scamming started in mid to early december. Yeah, so I would watch it if he starts claiming it was you OWTKAST...

I grew up in the Indianapolis area... and something isn't right to me. Why would this guy be living in Fishers if he is attending Ball State (or did I read one of the earlier posts wrong)? Fishers isn't a bad drive to Muncie, but it doesn't strike me as a convient, or logical choice (not that this guys is rational). If I had to guess, he might be living with his parents?

Also, if he is using Ball State's computer network to commit crimes, can't they get involved with this? Not sure what police agenices everyone has spoken with (Munice PD, ISP, etc.) but I don't imagine it would hurt to follow up with the Ball State Police.

I was trying to get partial refund AT LEAST.. i offered to give it back to him but he wouldnt respond... I wanted to card for video editting and gaming.. And it cant be upgraded cause its built in....

 

He has a BSU e-mail addy, and he might live on campus - frat house maybe since he is promoting his latest scam to the Delts? I just heard from someone who might have put the kabash on that little Florida scam too...This guy has to be stopped before he dreams up any more schemes. Maybe e-mail the university, or the frat. I'm thinking retribution, if not resolution, is getting closer and closer

 

Obviously atleast i receiver SOMETHING..... but i contacted paypal and they told me.. Well you bought it outside of an ebay account so it doesnt qualify for buyer protection and you received some kind of product so there is nothing we can do....

You could always email the president of his fraternity (that might have been the other email listed earlier) or even go higher and email the general fraternity. Having been a member of one myself, they usually frown on thier members being criminals, especially when it comes with any negative publicity.

 

Yes, they do frown upon that, very much so. it would surely be grounds for his removal from the frat.
