Default Door Handles

Can door handles be ordered stock that match the color of the car instead of the metal-looking ones?

I don't own one yet, but am going to buy one in September. It will be a 2004 Touring and am leaning towards Super Black.

Im ordering some stuff, going to custom mold a new set of doorhandles and use a new metal powder that makes plastic look like real metal.

it even comes in bronze to match my wheels. should be pretty cool.

all sorts of colors tho, kinda neat if it works.

when i had my Z, i immediately though of either shaving off the door handles and install door poppers or convert the door handles off a different car model. Either way both doors had tobe repainted, but it would have been all worth it....never went through with the idea and ended up selling the car

the stuff itself is made by alumilite (www.alumilite.com) however I dont use their other materials. their stuff is good, but first off, very expensive, its made for small peices like action figures and modeling parts. they sell it in larger amounts, but I use a more industrial strength material.

but metal powder like that, Ive never seen before. its sort of a model only application I suppose, but its great, not even paint, so tho it could scratch off, it wont be flaking or anything, its molded into the plastic.

anyway, just got my new toy, a pressure pot, I can now cast at 50PSI. woooboy, Ill post pics on monday.
