So I've been looking at getting a Z lately... I found this one, but want some input of what some of you think of it.

The car is supercharged and has $26,000.00 in upgrades. It puts down 351 hp and has all receipts and original parts including body. I am trying to see if I can get them down to 24000. Give me some input on this....Also, is anyone in San antonio knows a good place to get it checked out at?

 

Doesn't look too bad, but would want to know more info on the supercharger. Looks pretty clean though, and wouldn't hurt to work them down, couldn't hurt.

 

I'm sure you can get it cheaper than that. Not of fan of purple but the s/c is nice. Seems a little pricey to be asking for that.

$26,000 in just PARTS and only 341 hp ????? what the hell did they buy??? GTR logo's and stickers??? im sorry but you can get a 2006 stock, and put extra $6000 and thats already WAY over 400hp ...

So if they tryign to get you to buy it by telling you they have so much money put in it then they ripping you off cause the Car looks like SH** !!!! Gay rims, stock interior, stock breaks, i dotn see a Intercooler, .... pretty much 29k for a worthless piece of crap ..

thats my .02 and i wouldnt even pick my phone up to start calling them about it.

it has an intercooler...I'm going to see if I can look at all of the receipts tomorrow and take the car home for a while to check it out...The dyno sheet said 351, but I dont know what was on it, or what kind of tune it had or anything...It was some doctors "toy" car they said and trades in cars like nothing...Who knows...

 

The BRAKES look like brembo's, those are track rims which aren't gay, and I would like to know what 6k would get you over 400whp?

+1.. u can only get bolt ons with 6k or a st, dfntly not 400+

 

and those Rays are crap too don't see how they cover the breaks

 

Looks ok to me, but I'm really not a fan of those tails, JDM or not.

 

A question for some people that have a S/C 350...what are some things to get checked out on it...

 

+1 if you buy it and don't like the tails, I am sure someone with PPW would buy them from you.

 

I would post that question in the F/I - SC section, they would know more. Find out what SC it is and what EM it has, then ask that question (as I am sure that is what they would ask for). Any engine bay pics would do you some good as well.

.And if i name you ppl who have done single/ twin turbo's to their Z's already for under 6k you wouldnt know them prolly, and the fact that i know guys who did proves that is possible, and not clip ons lol... if you cant power your car 400whp + for 6grand you doing somthing wrong .....

Looks like a good deal and it looks pretty clean...i like it...of course for a little more you could get a nismo z.

 

I was saying they aren't stock, they are brembo. The "stock" rims you are talking about are Rays, which are great rims in quality.

As for your 400whp....tell me how for 6k. What kit and what tune for under 6k. You may be able to do it...but do it right? Reliable? I am curious seriously.

EDIT: Greddy Twin Turbo with intercooler =$8,500, HKS without intercooler =$5,225, Vortech SC $5,700. These are without an ES and not sure of the WHP numbers. So, really curious how 400 WHP is easy to get to under 6k

 

i seriously didnt see the breaks lol.. i just saw that pciture with rear rims ( break calliper see through) and it looked stock painted calliper lol. but you right, they are bramb breaks which are nice... and rims are my worst nightmare... dont care if they rays or bill gates special edition.... and yes i know two guy ran a turbonetics set up with few of their own mods that put them over 400whp and Ryan build his own for lil over 4k ( I knew that guy for over 4 years while he had his Z) and he threw around 500whp+ with his 2003 track model. He sold his car year ago i think. Great guy, very smart, and knows his tunes.
