How many miles? Too bad about the 20"s. Good timing on the purchase though. I bought an '06 GT with 21k miles for $20k in the middle of September. A month later and I could have saved $1k easy.

Conventional wisdom would tell you that however you have to realize the overall picture. We're talking about February and March 2009 and we STILL have not cleared 2008 Z inventory. Demand will be TOO weak to support any upswing in used pricing, guaranteed.

Also, it's highly possible that by the end of the year we'll have too much 370Z inventory as well and pricing for those will come down to either invoice or under invoice which will dry up demand for the 350Z.

Simply put, time is NOT on the side of any mass produced vehicle. Prices will continue to fall no matter what.

I am in the market for a Z and will be buying with cash the first of March. I have been watching eBay and Craigslist and have decided to hit some of the forums to see what is available there.

Looking for sub-60k miles, modified coupe or any stage roadster. Don't want black or red. Can't keep black clean where I work and I attract enough attention with my driving speeds so red won't help at all.

I'm thinking with all cash I should be able to find a great car from an individual needing the extra cash.

I did the math (finance major) and I'm paying 1400 bucks over 18 months at my current payment rate, and quite possibly less if I pay it off sooner. That's pretty reasonable to me but *shrug* to each their own.
9.5% is pretty steep if you have established credit. I could buy a used car on a credit card at a cheaper rate than that.

The dealer must have sold it off the lot. Surely it would have gotten more offers than 5k.

The market in Texas isn't that bad is it? Maybe I should buy mine from Texas...

You honestly think that if you buy a new car now, that you could sell it for about the same amount in a year? Look up the word "gullible".

I just bought. 2003 touring, 50k miles, burnt orange seats, graphite color, completely stock (just the way i like it, so i can do my own modifications to it) other than 20 inch wheels wrapped in new potenzas and eclipse touch screen nav/dvd dual drive. Picked it up for 13.5k because of the economy and the location.

Here's the pricing for my area using USAA for BRAND NEW 2008 Z(which is Zag).

https://my350z.com/forum/buying-leas...incentive.html

Base 6MT: $21409
Enthusiast 6MT: $22684
Touring 6MT: $25579

People who are trying to sell their car used will probably be left staring with their jaws hanging to the floor because they are going to be in disbelief about how fast their cars have depreciated.

I too am looking to buy in the very near future. I have been looking at 350Z's and M3's. The price on the M3's have dropped a ton too. I am leaning towards the Z though.

I've also been looking... I want a PPW AT [i know, i know], Touring... maybe enthusiast, stock is fine with me, with less than 60k. The one I've been able to find has all of the above except 71k miles and they want 14.988. Which is NUTS. I think they should come down to at least 12.5, if not more. So we'll see. I'd feel better if it had less miles. So idk. I'm unsure why they'd want so damn much for it, the KBB isn't even close to that.

its a buyers market, if you want to sell it you will have to entertain certain offers that in other times you would have laughed at.
