Default Question for Z owners

My brother wants a Z very badly but hes lookin to spend about 25,000. Hes looked at the WRX and used S2000's...so my question is-Is there anything wrong with getting a Base 350Z with no options besides floor mats?
thanks guys
cheers

In short, no........nothing wrong with it. Same engine, drive train & looks. Just read thru the list of bells & whistles not on the Base to see if he can live w/o them.

Having said the above, I'd heartily suggest he find a way to stretch his budget an additional 2 grand to get the Enthusiast.

that 2 grand adds HIDs, LSD, TCS, and a couple other things i cant remember off the top of my head, but for only 2k more, its deffinetaly worth it. i know when i can afford a Z, i will want at least an enth.

IMPORTANT things you miss out on are TCS and LSD. but yea theres lots more in the enthusiast besides those things that make it well worth it.

but the base is there so you can get a Z if you cant afford 28k.

if you can only afford 26, get the base.

I don't think 26k is the out the door price for a base model unless u are talking about a used one. MSRP is about $27K + tax + lic. Go figure.
