A snippet 2 years from now in the in an unnamed auto journal.


September 3rd 2006

Wanting to move Nissan's latest offering upscale, the all new 380Z now comes equipped with auto lift hatch, softer springs and dampers, push button automatic transmission and eight cup holders. Pushing 310 HP this car needs the motivation to get it's 4200 lbs off the line and to 60 in under 8 seconds. With the new re-tuned suspension, long trips cross country are more comfortable than ever.
There is no available 7 speed manual transmission and when asked a person close to the project who wished to remain anonymous said "look, it was cup holders or shifters, everyone was clamoring for more cup holders, nobody said they liked the manual transmission, it was the obvious choice."
