I was on my way to work this morning and an animal jumps out in front of me. It was really dark so I checked it out on the way home, the spot obviously mark by the half of my bumper left that morning. Time to get some modding going. Body shop quoted $2500 to repair.

Actually you should consider yourself lucky. It looks like a nice clean break, and didn't damage anything but the cosmetics.
What is the guy doing for the $2,500 That does seem very high. Did something else break other than the bumper?
I was quoted $1,400 for a brand new Nismo bumper, painted, with 3M tape.
When I asked how much it would have been if it were a regular Z bumper the guy said about $800 painted.
