Default Damn Keys Keep Stabbing Me in the Knee!

Anyone else have the keys hit your right knee when driving their Z? When I wear long pants its not to bad because I don't notice it, but I wear shorts the key fob jiggles on my knee then jambs into it when I move my leg to go onto the brakes.

My seat is a low as it can go, and I could move it back more, but I wouldn't be able to reach the steering wheel. I have these big long legs and short little arms

I used to have a problem peeing all over the place when I would wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom in the dark. So I turned on the light and VOILA no more mess.

So, how about doing the obvious and:

1) Removing your liberace size keychain

or

2) Move your seat back a bit or adjust your hip cushion **** on the left side of your seat.

LOL

I love being below-average height. I sit with my seat nowhere near the last position, straight up, high up. I'm 5'7 and super comfortable (sans stabbing!)

EDIT: I have nothing to add to this thread to help you solve your dilemma.

When i drive the car with HER keys, yes it happens. Guys shouldn't have more than 4 keys on a keychain.

Now getting in the car without sitting on my *****, thats another story.

what if you're a janitor

but to the OP, I hear you, sometimes i'll stab the top of my knee with the keys. Doesnt really bother me much, doesnt happen a lot.

I'm going to give you the opposite advice though from everyone else, add more keychains to it, that way it will hang lower. It will hit the side of your leg rather than stabbing the top.

Lol I actually tried that sort of. I added a lanyard to my key ring which only has my ignition key, alarm remote, and gym pass on it, but the stupid alarm fob is still attached to the key ring and keeps jiggling against my leg.

I guess I could add like 15 rings and put the alarm on the last one

What helps a little if I can make it stay, is trapping the alarm fob in the lanyard and swinging it over my windshield wiper control.

I want to build a little pouch out of duct tape so it can rest in there while im drivng

I have to much time on my hands....
