Question Do I own a 35th Anniversary Edition or Just Cool Paint?

So I own the Yellow 350z and I also have the custom metal flake paint and I was at the nissan dealer and he said How do you like the 35th edition? And my sticker says its just a touring but he swore they only made the metal flake for the 35th Anniversary editions?

Im so confused?

Thanks,
Ryan

The 35th Anniversary models had the 06+ style wheels and a 7000 RPM redline (RevUP engine).

The 35th Annversary editions were a flipping joke! They supposedly had one of a kind wheels, guess what, all 06 had them after that!

i got the metal flake in my yellow 05 Z and i dont think its a 35th edition. im pretty sure that all the yellow ones come with the metal flakes in the paint. The yello was the 35th color but im pretty sure not all yellow are a 35th edition.

Yellow was only made in 05. They did however use on it on other trims, enthusiast, touring, 35th. It probably is a 35th, just check what your redline shows on the tach.

The tach reads 6700RPM redline starts but the 7000 & 8000 are the only Red Font

I own a Black 35th, here's my . Does it have the special gold Z badging on the fenders? Brembos? "Special 5 spoke wheels"? Rev-up motor? 35th Z floor mats? Possible 2 tone black and beige leather seats? If not, then it's not a 35th Anniversary Edition.

I searched and found some of your pictures of your car, you do not have the Anniversary model.

Search for posts under my username for various 35th info. I own a fully loaded, automatic, yellow 35th.

The yellow was used on non-35th models too. I once test drove an 05 yellow roadster that was clearly not a 35th.

If you have your sticker and it does not say 35th, then it's not. All 35th models said 35th on the sticker.

Also remember you could also get a 35th in an automatic too. The auto will not have the rev-up engine with the higher tach limit.

Some quick clues: 5 spoke rims (that got used on 06 and up base)? Brembos? 35th floor mats? Special orange stitching in the seats if they are black (that got used on later 06 and up models). The next harder thing to tell is the special black Z badge.

True. An auto tranny was available which put out 287hp.
DJMC126 is it possible to post some pics up of your car?

LOL Anniversary editions are like GT's and LIMITED EDTIONS LOL! Nothing limited when you sell 200,000 of them.

Yes, only in 05 models, if you have a 35th anniversary edition you'll know it.

Search for my post on numbers...

There were about 250 of each of the three colors made (yellow, black, silver) for a total of about 750 2005 35th models sold in the US.
