Default Is this extended warranty a scam?

So I got this call for an extended warranty company. I asked for a website and this is the place they gave me.

http://www.royaladmin.com/

So I was thinking about doing it and they transferred me over to their finance department. So because I was military they said I would get a special discount and for a down payment of $150 I would only be paying $114 a month. This sounded good as I have axle clicking and you all know how expensive that is.

I have never heard of these guys so I told the guy I didn't have the money. He then got very aggressive saying this was a one time offer (btw, this is the second call I got from them) and that if I couldn't afford $150 down I couldn't afford the plan. He was being very condesceding. So I got pissed off and hung up on the guy. Has anyone had any experience with these guys?

You're better off not doing it. Go through the BBB listing and do it right if such an ensurer does exist.

$114/month for an extended warranty? WTF!?!?

1. Yes it is a scam.
2. Most of us get these calls/faxes/letters way to often and they don't give you opt out options, or their opt out options don't actually opt you out.
3. Check a legit warranty provider, such as http://www.warrantydirect.com/, or https://www.nwarranty.com/. I bought an extended warranty through Warranty Direct on my first Z and when I sold it, they refunded the unused portion (2 years left).

Yeah, that sounds like a scam. Why would they get aggressive if you dont have the money to pay. They are after the money only and when they see they cant get it they get pissed. Don't do it.

$114/month would be OK if you get tires.
