I could not find a n00b forum so I thought I would say "Hi" here first.

Well, I come to you all as a man without a car. I was the owner of a 2003 Eclipse GTS. The pieces of which were picked up today by the insurance company. I totaled it. Something I have never done before. That sort of makes me feel down, I liked my car a lot. Yet, very excited. Now I will be able to get the car I should have gotten in the first place. The Z.

I do not have one yet and will not be buying one until the spring. I live in Michigan and therefore a Z in the winter would not be prudent. I have purchased a 1992 4X4 GMC Jimmy for a winter truck. I will be saving a nice juicey chunk of change for a down payment and place my order for teh Z in about March.

I joined this site because I have a friend from Club 3G, (the Eclipse site), that recommended it. She said it is a great way for me to get to know the car better before I get one. I believe she goes by the name "GirlieZ". Her real name is Jessi.
