Such ********. Go back and read your original thread. It doesn't say that and obviously even you should be able to tell how your listing was "misleading".

Dave I have another story for you as well. Once I finish the install of another item. I have another shady seller to expose very soon. The guy was local to me literally 10 mins from my house and he offered to ship the item LOL. Jeeze I wonder why ROFL. It's amazing how many shady sellers are on this site now. The sad part is, his car was featured on Turbo Magazine before.

Will do. I am currently verifying all of the information through distributors, and the vendor he purchased it from to confirm my intuition before fully posting everything up. The sad part is, the item he was selling had an asking price of $1,500. Buyer beware.

Exclamation

before you guys start bashing the seller, there is quite a bit of information that you must know... this is:

1 - agallardo is not only a personal friend of mine, but he is one of FP's brightest techs and is a 110% completely honest and standup guy. i will vouch for him any day of the week as i have known him for a few years and have spent quite a bit of time with him and his family.

2 - this was not his sale. he posted it for a friend who does not have a my350z.com account or PayPal account. unfortunately, he made a HUGE mistake by never looking at the product (hence the reason for the stock photos) and by taking responsibility for the sale of a product that was not his own.

3 - though this was not his sale and the monies have been payed to the owner of the parts, he has sent $53.00 back to the OP even though he only requested $40. he felt guilty (and gullible) for his mistake (even though it truly had nothing to do with him) and ponied up without confirmation from the owner of the parts that he would be reimbursed.

before any of you ask, his defense above is truthful. the title of the thread clearly shows no mention of an O2 sensor. from what i understand, he didn't even know the O2 sensor would be included in the sale. again, all of this stemmed from him selling for a friend.

it's easy to blow these threads out of proportion and grow the mob...but, let's slow it down a bit here and get all of the facts before we bash. after i saw all of this mess, i had to do just that...

Wow what a friend huh? You guys should all line up and kick that guy in the nuts for that.

However, like you said he should have checked the product prior to shipping it. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the issue is he listed the item as an "Innovative Wideband LC-1 W/XD16 gauge". If you look at innovative's site linked below, an LC-1 wideband controller and XD15 gauge plus miscellaneous items retails for $329. It would make no sense for someone to pay $275 for just a XD16 gauge that retails for $229. Agallardo tried to back peddle here by saying that he stated in the classified ad that it was just for a brand new gauge and not a brand new sensor. I think he should be upset with his friend and do one of two things:

(1)-Give full refund after the buyer sends the item back.
(2)-Give a partial refund that the buyer and seller could agree with.

Looks like my ninja edit wasn't fast enough. I'm sure everything will be straightened out. Lesson learned...do not sell anything for that friend lol.

your ninja skillz are starting to lack..

you bring up good points and questions are still unanswered. agallardo posted what was asked of him...that's pretty much all i can say at the moment... he's a great guy... and due to this very fact, he is very trusting... and in this case, it was a hard lesson learned. this is definitely one of those very grey circumstances that can go either way... i will post up more as i learn the details...

btw, he did option B. the OP asked for 40$ back...but, agallardo sent 53$ with no confirmation that the original owner of the wideband will reimburse him... only a person of great character would come out of his own pocket when they were just the middle-man... i have to say kudos to him...

Good stuff. You are correct in that he did the right thing and took responsibility for the mishap. Hopefully, the friend reimburses him, but if he doesn't that will be a lesson learned for him to never trust that guy again. Since the refund has been issued and with this many people vouching for him, IMO I think the case is closed since the buyer got what he wanted with a compromise they both could live with. The nut kicking still stands for that buddy of his though.
