Need Opinions/Advice Wrecked Turbo Z
Hi!! My friend just wrecked his turbo Z, do you think it is going to be totalled from the picture? And he got hit in the back, he turned off the engine right after the accident, now he can't turn the engine back on? The only damage is to the rear which is smashed in and it also caused damages to the front fenders. He tried to call the place where he got the turbo done, but to no avail and some of you might know the place called SGP. Need advice, or opinions!!! Thanks for reading!!!!

The neighbor is unscathed, was not shaken up, but thankful to be alive. He knows about this website, but he isn't net interested, so I'm helping him to find infomation. He is currently taking the parts out to see what can be salvaged, but definitely the engine is in pre-wrecked shape. He'll find out what the insurance says before doing any parting out. He said his car puts out 500hps.... Anyway, thanks for comments.

Perhaps the safety fuel cutoff switch? It will allow the car to crank but no fuel in case there was spillage in the accident.
Also the car is totaled based on my best guess. Get the wrenches going and yank out the turbo kit before the insurance takes the car. Then sell to me for cheap!

Looks to be an older model. And unless a rider was put on the insurance, they won't cover the turbo anyway.
My bet is it will be a total loss. Buy it back, part it out.
I hope your friend is OK.

SGP made my friend very happy, but he didn't know what was going on until he wrecked and tried to call them. SGP is definitely isn't going to rise again given that they owe a lot of people money I believe.
