Default NHTSA Rollover Rating for 350Z

In USA Today one of the stories made a big deal out of the BMW Z4 having a 5 star rating for resistance to rollover. I looked through the article and could see it was typical, the reporter was fashioning the data to fit their preformed ideas about big SUV's.

But I didn't see my favorite car!!!!

I went looking at the site and found that the Z has a 5 star rating also and 5 stars for Frontal impact for driver, 4 for passenger. From the side it rates 5 star but that might have been rated with side airbags though no caveat was on the page.

If you want to look a vehicle up go to

I was looking for aome more information and found this page with a clip showing a 350Z punching a crash wall.

www.nhtsa.dot.gov/NCAP/Cars/2502.html

Previously I had thought this was only rollover calculations but it's a bit more detailed.
