7/02 build date, purchased in 9/02, 125K+ miles...original battery. Needs to be replaced soon though. It's on it's last legs.

I've followed your story in the "how many miles on a 2003" thread - I'm just jerking your chain a little.

I don't know how hard it would be to find somebody to pay a big premium because of the low mileage. Don't you have less than 6K or so on it? What model is it? Base, Track, etc. That plus some unknown premium for the low mileage will tell what it's worth. Any mods or is it totally stock?

Dave its a 2003 track model,I had the Brake Warehouse cross drill /slot/nickel plate/and triple temper the stock rotors when the car was brand new, and I also put on a Borla true dual exhaust, the rest is 100% stock, it has the factory cover and most all the available options from the dealer ,including the six air bags ,its got almost 6k miles.

KBB lists a "Private Party" value of $17,700 for a 2003 track, execellent condition with 6K miles. You could probably use 18K as a starting point and figure people are going to offer less anyway. The big question is always "how long can you wait". I know you can wait a long time to find the right buyer since it's obviously not your sole source of transportation. If you advertise widely and wait for the economic conditions to improve you should have good luck in finding a discriminating buyer who is willing to pay the premium for a car like that.

My 2003 350Z Track with less than 4900 miles still has the original battery, but I keep it on a Deltran Battery Tender in a climate controlled garage.

Yes, the Z is just above my NX2000

My '04 battery died a month ago, but it was a brutal winter here. Killed my wife's battery as well.

4/23/2003 Track with original battery. Has anyone who replaced their battery, done so with another Nissan battery? If so, what did it cost?

04.5 Track with 32K on it. Replaced the original Nissan battery about a year ago just because. I bought a Costco battery (cheap) because it has a 36 month free exchange, no questions asked. I have been getting free batteries for my other vehicles by exchanging them at 35 months.
