Periodically the navigation DVDs are updated with new information (ie new streets, points of interest, etc) and they release a new DVD. Alpine's last updated navigation DVD was ~$300, so actually $185 isn't so bad.

I was just about to say, why don't you guys start a thing where you all chip in 20 bucks or so, then buy it and make copies, Its only slightly illegal. Only thing is, they may have put some kind of protection on it and that could **** up the burning and then you guys would be SOL...
