Man the day is finally here!
Finally today I get my Daytona Blue Enthusiast 6 speed!
I placed my order for an 04 coupe on July 4th with my local dealer, Naples Nissan, and every month my dealership had an excuse on why my Z order wasn't placed with NissanUSA.
They didn't have enough allotment they said, and in the mean time they were ordering roadsters.
July ordering window, I understood, just placed the order.
August, they said they would have enough allocation to order mine and they didn't, I was pissed. Was going to cancel and place my order then, but would have to wait for the next months ordering window with another dealership anyway. And they Promised it would be ordered, 1st week in Sept. Well when I got the call last week that again I was bi-passed, that was it, cancelled my order, got my deposit back, and called Nissan Corporate. They were not to happy to see what was being done to me. And they said I was not the 1st to have complaints against this dealership. It was obvious the dealership didn't care about my order, as they were only making $1000 over invoice.
Well they shouldn't of taken the order then. Stay away from Naples Nissan!
I had contacted a dealer back in June, Sutherlin Mall of Georgia, after reading posts here of members getting their Z for just over invoice, off Ebay from this dealership. So I contacted them and they gave me a price of $500 over invoice, and $495 dealer app. But they are about 700 miles away.
My local dealer ended up matching it, so I placed my order on July 4th with Naples Nissan.
So when I canceled my order, I started looking at dealers inventory in Flordia, and there was only a couple, a pretty good distance, and not excatly what I wanted. And they only would sell for MSRP. So I looked up the Sutherlin Mall of Georgia inventory, and they had just what I wanted. I called and told them the price I was quoted from them before, and after alittle dealing, we agreed on the price. And get this. They have another Sutherlin dealership in Florida, that is 20 miles from my house! (never put the names together before)
So they put it on their truck, and it arrived late last night!. Man I lucked out!
Couldn't sleep so I was down their at 6:00 am this morning to check and their she was, inside the garage sleeping
Dealership opens at 10:00 am, I can't wait!
