I got my car keyed twice in the last few weeks. One huge one that goes through my driver side headlight to the other side of my hood, other one on the side of my car by the Z emblem. After that I parked my car near the window of my room in my condo complex. I swear if I find someone keying me car or find out who did it....

Default Foreign Car Makers

I just watch the world news this morning and they mentioned that a few foriegn car makers are opening shop in the southern states and making a positive impact on the economy while the northern states, america car companies are shutting down.

So I guess it's unfair to say that the foriegn car makers are ruining the economy.

If america made better cars we wouldn't have this problem....

Americans are great innovators but foriegners know how to make the product better, look at the japanese and germans.

Yeah, I'm not laughing at the fact people actually take the time to key cars, I'm laughing at the comments made. I think it just comes down to jealousy. And they know it pisses people off.

Yet, lets key Import cars in protest to America making **** cars. Better yet, lets keep bailin them out to make more **** cars.
Thats a better idea, i just don't get it. The world is a weird messed up place.

I'm glad most of the scratches came out.

Agreed, parking in 2 spots is a dick move. If I don't have room to park away from other cars and walk a little farther, I'll just park next to a nice car. Taking up two spaces, especially if they are at a premium like in a crowded mall, is going to get you keys or dented. Not that it should, but it will.

I've had my 2005 z for a week now..
It's in perfect condition...
I clay'd and waxed and there isnt a single nick or scratch anywhere..

I actually takje pictures ofthe license plates next to me when i get out at certain places like the mall... I know this sounds retarded and will do little to help with insurance, but i feel better...

I can understand your logic behind doing this, but it doesn't really PROVE anything in case something did happen. I know it helps you feel better and all, but it probobly isn't worth your time.

Agreed, but i do feel better knowing that I can spot the car again...
Or have a police report with suspected cars... most lots around here have camera's... and if there's a "black honda looking car" on the video that I have a license plate shot of... it might pay off one day...

But you do look retarded taking pictures of the people next to you...

Wow, I really feel for you.

I have an 08 magnetic black roadster. I bought it brand new on April 29th. Brought it home April 30th. It was keyed on May 2nd. The sad thing is that it happened right in the driveway of my uncles house on a saturday afternoon in BROAD DAYLIGHT. And when people were all outside playing.

Long story short? I think it was my own cousin who did it. There was so much traffic in and out of the house that day that for some random person to just run up, key the car, and run away, is highly unlikely. I haven't confronted him about it yet, although I really want to. He's probably jealous.

I guess some people just don't like seeing others move up in life.

I feel for you... My heart is still broken. And it was keyed so deep that the entire passenger side has to be repainted. It cannot be buffed out because they keyed it down to the metal.

I have a suspicion as to who it was. I showed the car to my friend and his g/f and she said "omg. im so jealous" Later on that night we were playing beer pong and I was talking a lot of crap to her. She's also a very immature person in general so my bet is that it was her.

ANYWAYS, just went up to the detail shop and the guy buffed about 80% of it out. The two spots where they got into the paint, there's nothing we can do about. You could see it clearly from 10 feet away this morning. You have to be within 10 inches now. I'll take it.
