Sure they do it for a reason. And the reason is they are "psyco-jealous". I have had my car keyed before (Not my Z though). I park in isolated distant spots if I have to take my Z to the grocery. That way only a super-psyco would walk all the way there to key it.

the economy take was awesome....it's like how everyone blamed everything on "El Nino" in the past...

this was a house party....and it seems like the OP was doing some bragging about his new car, and some hater decided to take him down a notch, it sucks and you in no way deserved it, but maybe next time don't rub it in everyones faces when they are drinking and becoming more irrational as time goes....
