Look into getting a ClearBra once you have repaired your front end. Best 600 that I've ever spent.

Default installed clear bar

Here is a pic of my CS.

Can you see the clear bra? Most folks dont know its there unless i tell them.

Oh by the way, when you wax the car, be careful about the lip where the bra starts. ITS a PIA to get it out.

Could you install a sheet of the clear bra on just the entire front bumper? That way there are no lines at all, and the entire bumper is covered. Then leave the hood untouched.

Wink I can see the line on the clear bra.

I installed the clear bra as well, and mine comes up past the headlights for more protection.

The guy also did the full bumper, door handles and door edges!!

Which is why if it were be id just have the entire bumper done, not the hood. No lines that way and the most important part is protected.

I think that looks great. My only other concern is what will that look like when the rocks hit that? will it rip or leave indents in the clear plastic? Also if you wanted to replace the clear bra how hard is it to remove and will it rip the paint off the car or leave a sticky substance on the front? Thanks

I believe you are seeing shawdowing from tree's and possibly some sort of overhang! You can see it in person but you have to look real hard.I saw one and that one was a little wavy;I'll take my chances and repaint it when needed.Don't really like nose cover's but I would probably get one before clear film!To each his own just my 2 cents good luck with what ever you decide.

The film is energy absorbant and extremely tough, I usually give people a 1" wide strip and ask them to try to tear it, havent seen anyone do it yet. And yes, it can be removed at anytime with no harm to the paint, we would not be in buisness for very long if out product ruined paint jobs We get asked this question alot, but honestly these are meant to be permanent installs and you will likely never have a reason to have to remove it. If anyone has any other question about paint protection film, feel free to drop us a line!

There is a guy in the Trenton area that does dent repair and installs clear bras. He has been doing the bras for a few years. Concentrates mainly on Porsches, Mercedes and high line cars in general. He is very meticulous about his work. Bill Rochford (Rocky) you can reach him at 609-647-6065.

no offense, but it looked aweful. it had tons of marks in it, no doubt his paint was perfect under neith, but the bra looked like crap.

It might be a bit of a hike, but Thomas at Secondary Exposure in NY has installed for several members of this board. Hes a good installer and stands by his work, get a hold of him at his web site SE-EX.com
