Default Feathered Tire Replacements

I had my 1st pair of front tires replaced at 4000 miles by warranty after the feathering. At about 12,000 miles, it returned. All alignment specs were perfect still. NNA agreed to another pair of fronts, but my service manager was able to get me a complete set of new Michelins. It goes in thurs for the swap. New tires at 16,000 miles, not too bad..... It seems the infinitis are not having a featehring issue with Mich's. Hopefully, this will be a final answer.

My car is in the shop right now with 21K miles on the clock; awaiting final approval from nissan for a full set of Michelins. The first set were replaced at 10K miles; now at 21K, same problem. Has anyone with the feathering issue put some miles on a set of Michelins? If so, did it take care of the feathering?
Thanks!
Mika

I had my tires replaced at 8,000 miles, I have 23000 now, and
the problem is back. Dealer can't do anything, told me to call consumer affairs at Nissan. Is this who I call or does somebody have another number I can call?

Yes, call Nissan Consumer Affairs. If you talk to the right person, they can help a lot and make things happen for you. Depending on your relationship with your dealer, you may even want to tell them that your dealer says he can't do anything, and told you to call. This gets your dealer in trouble with NNA, but may help you in getting what you want. The fact the dealership can't do anything is an indication that they are either unwilling to help, or they have poor communication/relationship with NNA. This has been my experience, at least.
