I got the extended warranty 5yr/75k miles the one form nissan since the one I had on mine runs out march 2010 and I drive a lot... put 650 miles on it only this weekend. The guy told me that it has to be bought around the time of purchase and not when the existing warranty runs out...

I also haven't had any oil consumption issues yet. However, I filled up my gas tank for the first time yesterday with 27k miles.

newbie here, just starting my search. It's my understanding that the base models don't have the LSD. Is this correct? That would be the one reason why I wouldn't want a base model. I looking at 07's and 08's. I believe all models beside the base have the LSD, Is this right? thanks

Maybe for people like you, that can't handle a "high-powered RWD car" very well.

Nice, I have an 07 also. They recalled the clutch in the 07 because they were malfunctioning and caused cars to go out of control. You should take it to a Nissan dealer. They should cover the cost of the rental car and give you a brand new clutch for free.

I'm saying this only because my stick looked a lot like yours before they switched out the recalled clutch.
