Yes, I agree that he should accept the offer that he already accepted 2 days ago.

I sure hope it was cash or a bank wire that he sent you. Cos I wouldn't be too sure until the money is IN THE BANK!

Sold it to him yesterday and cashiers/bank check is through the bank and clear. I wasn't too concerned about fraud as the guy had many nice vehicles and I was at his house. The bank where he drew the check from was literally 3 miles away. Now I've got about 19000 to find a car with but that has to cover state tax which is around 3.5%(based on numbers I saw on paperwork from a local relatives recent purchase). The geniuses at the DMV couldnt tell me exactly how much used car tax is in my area. Is it just in alabama where all DMV departments are completely worthless? The job description of the lady I asked when I canceled the registration is to assess and collect tax and tag payments on vehicle purchases and she cant tell me the tax rate? Their website is just as useless and I couldn't find it there either. Oh well Im assuming 3.5% or there about unless told otherwise

lol...just call one of the dealers on Autotrader in your area,...ask about a Z (even if you don't want it). Then, ask them how much the tax is. That's the best way to know rather than guessing what your relatives paid for their vehicles.

Thanks for running that. I actually pm'd a member on here who ran it for me. The funny thing is the guy told me the rear fender had been painted because someone hit it with a golf club...I emailed him about the accident and now he wont respond. He had to know I would check on that before I considered buying

Glad you caught that Z's accident. Hopefully the next guy is just as smart to run the VIN. I wonder if people can report false advertisement like that on eBay?
