Found a 2007 350z Enth. just a few ?'s..
Well after a bit of searching I found 2007 Enthusiast model(very low miles).
While I do like the GT and the options that are included, I just can not find one color/combo..mileage..etc..
And so a couple of questions came to mind..Here they are:
1.How accurate is a "CarFax" report.
2.Can Nissan add the front and rear spoiler package to the car at this point?
3.Can I upgrade to the bluetooth cell phone connectivity on the steering wheel?
4.Can I have Nissan install Brembro brakes to the car....
5. Currently the car has the mud flaps..how hard is it to take them off?
Thanks guys..

1. carfax is crap, i bought a car with a clean carfax that had been in an accident. It only shows up if it is claimed by insurance
2. i would guess yes
3. i doubt it, you could get the bluetooth in an upgraded HU
4. definitely
5. no idea
lol hope that helps..

Carfax is a joke and i wouldnt trust it, my old EK civic was crashed multiple times and the odometer broke and was replaced with one with 0 miles and still came through with a squeeky clean carfax with no accident history or odometer fraud.
The mud flaps are pretty easy to remove

Interesting info on carfax..the car Im looking at is at a Saab dealership ..they purchased at an auto-auction..its a one owner car..orig. window sticker..etc. books and what not.. less than five 5,000miles..mm..a bit strange..I think and its no where near local so I can not look at it myself..
Thanks

Nice find. I have a GT but it was a PAIN to find...let me tell you. On to your questions:
1. Carfax's are better than nothing, but as stated if an accident has not been filed with an insurance company they may not show up. Nothing beats inspecting the vehicle yourself.
2. Nissan should be able to add the rear spoiler, and the "front spoiler" is a little piece of plastic that drags if you don't take bumps at the right angle. Not worth too much in my opinion.
3. Bluetooth on the steering wheel will be difficult, but you could do it aftermarket as previously stated. Mine works about 60 percent of the time. Cool feature. Adds the James Bond wetness if you get a call when a girl is in the right seat...but mine occasionally will mute itself when I make a call. Could be my phone.
4. Last time I checked they can't add the "factory" brembos, but even if they could, you are much better off adding an aftermarket BBK. You can get a stoptech kit (just an example) for well less than whatever they would charge you, and although I LOVE the factory brembos, you can get better brakes for less going aftermarket.
5. Mudflaps (eww...why?) are not that tough to take off, but occasionally guys have had trouble because rocks/moisture etc can get caught in them and leave scratches. I would tell the dealer (or whoever is selling the car) to take them off and make sure that everything is good underneath, or work the repairs into the deal.
Overall here is what I would tell you. I love the GT package because it had a lot of the things (brakes, lid/lip spoiler, sound package) already done. BUT, even when I bought it, I was aware of the fact that you can do ALL of those things BETTER and CHEAPER aftermarket. This forum is FULL of recommendations on brake kits, spoilers, even audio equipment and in-car-electronics like bluetooth. Don't settle, but be aware that the aftermarket support for this car is damn near unparalleled. Hope that helps!

Yeah I figured that..mm..food for thought..might be better off just finding a GT instead. The price of the car I found is pretty good, but add up the things I want done, up the slightly used GT price..dang I hate this..sh... !
lol

Yeah if you must have those then i would wait. I originally wanted a GT as well, but could not find one in the color i wanted that was within 500 miles and who would offer me a good price on my trade in. I ended up getting an 08 Enth brand new in my favorite color. I replaced the HU with a dvd player touch screen so i have no regrets. The leather seats i can buy on these forums for nothing. The Brakes i decided when i upgrade will just go aftermarket.
