Default Did your friend do this to your new Z?

now that I have a Z and starting to realize that I might have a lot of dumb friends. Let me know whether I'm being too sensitive or they are in fact dumb.

The other day, I had to pick up my friend at dealer and drop him off at work. He got out of my car and the first thing he did was put his damn notebook on top of my hood. I was so pissed but I didn't say a word because I know friendship is more important.

Another day, I was showing my badminton club buddies the new car. This guy tries to get a feel of my suspension by placing his hands on the tail and push down real hard. another guy put his gatorade bottle on the top of my car and leaning towards the car.

Man, I'd tell MY friends to lay off the daym car. They ain't payin for it. If you want to remain tactful, just tell them, "Hello, new car, can you please get of it's SACK!!!"

i don't think any of 'em are a big deal. I'd just ask the guys putting stuff on the car not to. As for pushing down it hurts nothing & some quick detailer takes the hand prints off.

I'm with you man. Some people just don't get it. Tell them what you think! My friends know me well enough that they would never ever do anything like that.

I feel your pain. My boss always uses the window to close the door. Any time I give him a ride you can count on a window cleaning when I get home. It's annoying to always remide people to use the door handle.

took me a few times, but it was actually my family that was the problem, my friends are typicly pretty respectful, they once jammed 2 girls into the passenger seat, which was fine, I really dont mind, but their shoes were CAKED with mud.

needless to say I had to steam clean the carpets the following day, but they were drunk, and didnt know their shoes were muddy, so I didnt really get upset.

I got far more upset when my dad and mom continually put cups and papers ontop of the car, but I was polite with them of course(hell it is their car, they can crap on it if they want) but over the months they see the effort I put into the car to keep it clean and they too have taken efforts to keep it nice.

I never understood that push on the suspension thing, even if you could tell anything from it(I dont think you can) they wouldnt know the difference, be like some newbie sniffing a wine or a cigar, they wouldnt know either way.

actually I did have one friend that gets jeolous sit on the hood, and then say he was gonna stand on it, I just walked away, if he had done it, he woulda been in for a shock when I sent the massive bill to his parents. no more orange peel!

I also don't understand how the hell he can test the suspension with his bare hands but he just did. He was going to proceed to the front tires but I told him it might set off the alarm...that stopped him from doing it.

I might want to get a banner that says "I love my car....think before you do anything stupid".

GODAMNIT people are really making me mad in my car. Had one friend Friday night who wouldnt stop touching all the gadgets. Kept opening and closing the vents. Turning on the heated seats. Pulling out the drink holder. Finally I was like "DUDE, STOP!"

Tonight, another one had his hand out the window and was tapping the roof. SON OF A BlTCH!!!

Swirl marks or scratches may occur if you have a little grit/dirt on your car and someone places an object on it and then slides it a little when removing it. People not familiar with automotive paint car don't understand this, hence they often use the car body as a shelf. Mainly a lack of understanding from what I can tell.

I got a better one for ya - let me know what you all make of this:

My friends know how **** I am about my car, I park away from everyone and stuff - so i see one of my friends get my attention as he walks towards my car.

He then waves his keys in the air, and motions like he is gonna key my trunk. So I laugh, like, stop being a dick.

Now here's the weird part - which I cant totally blame him for...

He covers his key with his finger, so his knuckle is the only thing touching my car. Runs it across my trunk. And believe it or not, it leaves a foot and a half long line in my paint!

W-T-F?!

How the hell is this even possible - I figured he cooked the wax with the friction, but then i took dawn to it later to remove the wax and I cant fcukin remove the line!!

All this could have been avoided if he didnt try to "fake me out" or whatever. Im so pissed. And he drives a pretty decent car too, an 03 sentra se-r.

I CANT GET HIS FAT FINGER MARK OFF MY TRUNK!!

I was at a friend's house after taking him out for a drive. After he got out we were talking and he starts leaning his bodyweight with his elbow on top of the pass window!! Now, he weighs about 260 - 270, so I was like "look man, you can't lean on that there's no metal frame on top of it". He moved, but a few minutes later he was doing it again! "Dude, what did I say two minutes ago?"

Some people just don't know how to take care of things...

I guess most people just don't care about their car in general so when they get in someone else car their doing the same thing.
My coworker last week decided to play a "LITTLE JOKE" on me. Everyone here at work knows that I'm very **** about my car because it gets washed twice a week and I TRY not to use it when it's raining etc etc...
So he decided to park his rusted up Grand Prix several inches from the driver side. He got another JOKER to park his JEEP extremely close on the passenger side and another idiot park real close to my back bumper. When I first saw my car I was WTF I to crawl in from the passenger door evry carefully trying not to open the door into the Jeep. I confronted him with this and asked him WTF was he thinking?
He was just laughing, saying I GOT YOU!! I told him what he is going to get is a bill if he has a single scratch on my car. Then he tells me that he will bring shaving cream and write stuff on my windows. I told him if he did that he is re-painting my whole car.
I like to joke around as much as the next guy but don't be using my car as part of it. SOB!!!
Were friends and all but if I would have found a scratch on my car, I think I would have seriously injured the guy.

i think most people that do crap like this are only the ones that are jealous because they can't afford or not into cars enough to spend the money on them. they feel that getting a rise out of you will some how make them feel better about themselves.
i'm pretty vocal and have no problem telling someone their an idiot if they do something stupid around my car and will punch them in the fu#%*ng head if they don't like it.
most of my friends are pretty cool, and know how **** i am, but accidents happen like they spill their beer cause i hit the gas quick (oops did i just say that) but things like that are nobodies fault really.
when i shut the door i actually use my knuckle on the door handle to not leave a finger print, and wipe it down everyday if i drive it or not.
my friends have learned by now (i've had alot of cool cars) not to do stupid things, but if they are about to, i just tell them they better not be busy for the next week or so so they can fix what ever stupid thing they might do to the car!!! most of the time they stop right away.
