Default Never lend you car to your brother!

Let my brother take my Z out for a spin. It's been a while since he's driven a stick.

When he got back, I could smell a foul odor, kind of like from the clutch plate. Thought maybe he was hard on the pedal.

When I got into the car, found that he forgot to drop the emergency brake. He drove the damn car for 15minutes like that.
Said he forgot.... about the brake.

Could have killed him! but then again, he's my brother....

Lesson learned!

About 10 years ago I needed my brother's truck so I traded him my BMW 535 for the weekend. On the trade back he mentioned it was kind of cool that "the engine won't let you blow it up at red line, as it just kind of shuts itself down". And he wonders why I won't let him drive my Z...

I wonder how many times he stalled it. Damn thing must have been a bucking bronco.

I better go have the Brembos checked out. Might need new pads.

Should have been an only child.....

My bro always does burn outs w/ my car. I guess he's used to clutch dumps on his VR4.

It's not safe to let your brother drive your car even if you're in it.

In 1978, I rolled my brother's brand new VW Scirocco - a pretty hot car back then. He was sitting next me. He'd had the car for two weeks. I'd had my license four days.

To this day, I avoid driving other people's cars unless absolutely necessary. If they insist, I tell them 'the story'.
