I am going to be painting my rims black this week. I would like to take off all 4 wheels at once as opposed to taking them off and painting them one at a time. Is it safe to suspend the car on 4 jack stands? Especially for a long period of time like 24 hours?
If the answer is no, is there any affordable solution to my problem? thanks, I know this is probably the type of question a little girl would ask but uhh... can we keep flaming to a minimum?

yes u can keep the car on jacks for 24hrs, as long as you place the jack stands on the right place
best solution, if u can find wheels/tires that will fit just temporarily while you work on ur wheel, a friend maybe, there are many cars with 5x114.3 applications
4 jack stands are safe just don't use a floor jack to hold the car instead of the jackstands, (stupid people die all the time from this) every time i paint rims i take them all off at once hope this helps.
To put a car on stands requires at least 8 jackstands.
It's scientifically proven that the weight from the car causes stress on the jacks, causing them to deform and crush under the weight. If you simply leave it on 4 jackstands, they will fail, causing further damage to your braking system and underbody.
Your best bet is to use 2x4's, rocks, and possibly a small child. Those should support the car's weight no problem.
Small children bleed all over the place, I hate cleaning the mess up. I do like taking pics of the screaming & bleeding young children though, I spose they will make great stories to tell the grandkids one day.
