Default When to shift?

I own an 07 NISMO and took it out drag racing for the first time. I have never drag raced any car before so the whole experience is new. Can anyone tell me the optimum time to shift? Spec's seem to say max HP@6800 and max torque@4800, but I have been unable to find a legible dyno sheet to really see the curves. The car is stock.

I am going for my second time in the next couple of weeks and would appreciate anyone's advice.

If you look at dynos, the Z loses almost all power near redline. I would shift maybe 200rpms under redline just to get that torque back up there. I have an 07 and I usually shift at 7200 to 7300.

It may not seem possible, but I was thinking the same thing. Well, the first two sentences, anyway...

before this shows up on the screen of your onboard computer:

if you shift at the exact right moment, you'll do wheelies between gears like VIN DIEZZEL

Thanks to those who are actually trying to be helpful! I don't have a scanner at home but here is the info. from one of my slips. Every slip I got that day shows a .000 @ 1000ft. for the right lane so obviously there was an issue with the equipment. I was aiming to shift around 7000rpm and did get a bit of tire spin at the start as I was figuring out the tire/track surface combo.

R/T .295
60' - 2.320
330' - 6.354
1/8 - 9.580@76.85mph
1000' - .000
1/4 - 14.569@96.51mph

Again, any help from someone who knows the car would be appreciated.

For the unhelpful, condescending douches out there, I am sorry I wasn't born with your bountiful knowledge of every car on the planet. I have owned Preludes, a 280ZX, and a 300ZX however this is the first time I have gone to the track. Perhaps if you could come down off of your throne and bestow upon the rest of us some of your wealth of knowledge the world would be a better place.

I told you when to shift, but you were too late!
