I just got my order number, W180127, how can I use this or is it only for the dealerships? I was told the letter usally means the month it's being delivered. Also, you only get the order number when the order is already processed and getting ready for production, correct? Or can they give a order number soon as you make a order with the dealership? Anyone who knows anything bout the Order number, please inform me. I just got it, so kinda excited, feels like it's getting closer

 

Can't really do anything with that number except come up with a gross estimate of delivery based on the first letter and feel confident that Nissan has your order. The magic number will be the VIN. This is entered into Nissan's system around the time the car is put on a boat. Once you have this number, you can go to nissandriven.com and watch your dealers inventory for that number. Your dealer should also be able to see expected delivery dates on his inventory reports, but these aren't necessaraly accurate. My original delivery date was Sept 30. That was changed to Aug 30th but the car showed up on Aug 23rd.

The wait gets harder as the date gets closer, but is all worth it.
