You can't go wrong with Super Black or Chrome Silver. All other colors are acquired tastes. Mine is a CS track. It's that rare silver that looks good in the sun AND at night.
I don't care how many silver cars are on the road, CS looks different/better than them.

Nothing looks better than black at night, its just so much more intimidating too. Nothing looks worse than black when its dirty tho.
I said this in another thread, the Z is one of those cars that looks awesome in any color.

I would like to see more interior color options (not just the seat colors but most of the interior). Those that I think might look good are: Brickyard with tan interior, Black with red interior, Chrome Silver or Silverstone with maroon interior.

I normally go for only black on sports cars, but I'd have to say that the Brickyard color looks awesome too and is one of the most original colors around--- plus you don't see them all over the place where I'm at.

Ok, I admit that I haven't read everyone's posts, but the best color, and this is not just my opinion, but considering the collectibility of a car like this, the only color to get is silver (chrome silver). The red, lemans sunset, brickyard, daytona blue are all great colors, but novelty colors. when and if you watch a car auction, real classics and collectibles they will generally not be outstanding colors like yellows and greens and blues (this is of course with some exceptions) but will primarily be blacks, silvers, whites, and sometimes red.
Personally I own a silver Z, and I think the superblack looks the best, especially with the tan leather interior, but silver while being a collectible color as is the black, will require much less upkeep than the black.
Really it all boils down to taste, and whatever plans you may have for your car. I do not plan to EVER sell my Z. It is hopefully the first in what I hope will be a large collection of cars and bikes. Thus my reasoning for going with the silver.

Brickyard kind of reminds me of techno violet that was available for the e36 m3. ONly a few like it and people say they were sorry it was discontinued. I think some people just like a color after it was discontinued b/c its rare. Oh and to keep on topic...i can't decide between daytona blue or SB.....decisions decisions :-)

After watching The Run, I only had Lemans Sunset on my mind. After I test drove a 2003 Brickyard / Frost Leather, all I could think of was that Frost > Charcoal. Since LS and FL don't mix, I thought Daytona Blue / FL would make a perfect combination.
I should be getting my Chrome Silver / Charcoal Leather within about a week. A VERY classy combination.
