This morning I got woken up by my neighbor knocking on my door. When I went outside I saw what appeared to be my rear windshield smashed out on top of my hatch, my driver's side mirror wrecked and my passenger side little pillar removed. Inside my stereo was half-way ripped out. My neighbors truck was also broken into and they heard my alarm going off last night. Since its a Saturday AND a holiday, noone can fix it till Monday. I'm supposed to be going on vacation tomorrow. HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!



Oh and this is the second time its happened at my complex.

 

that sucks, they didnt take anything else?

Sorry about the incident. Thieves are pretty brazen. They know that some feel-sorry scum-hugging judge would give them 6 months probation if caught.

 

pager alarm.............i wouldnt have it any other way living in a apt/townhome, etc complex...

Sorry to hear. Mine was broken into on easter. I now leave the Z in my parents garage near holidays...just a weird precaution of mine.

heck i'm thinking of buying a townhome and this is one of the things i worry about. even tho my Z isn't as hooked up as others here, its my baby lol.

quick question, is your parking area gated or open? if its gated then damn.. your neighbors are thieves

 

town home i lived in had a 2 car garage xD.

 

Alarm went off, prob why they bailed without stealing anything. They hit 2 trucks too. Already got my stereo replaced and my apt got me a garage. I'm leaving for a week long vacation tomorrow so hopefully that will take my mind off things. Fully covered by insurance after my deductible. My apt community is gated but I live off of Beltway 8 in Houston, which is a prime target. I know there are definitely some thieves in this place though.

 

Tough to hear bout your loss. Guess you should also break down & make sure you get a great alarm system......and pay extra for the garage if that is what is nec. to prevent this from happening again.
