I agree with TheOrteganator, insurance should cover it if you have full coverage.

In California paraphernalia isn't a huge deal anymore, I mean you're gonna get is some trouble but it isn't devastating. I work in CA though.. can't say I know anything about AZ law.

However from the insurance standpoint they aren't going to care at all. You weren't under the influence of anything (at least you haven't said so) which leaves them no room to deny the claim based on that.

I was rollin next to my friend today in his Nismo, and we both saw a "bag" in the middle of the road. Turns out this bag was a possum and it decided to run right at my friends car. I watch the Nismo plow into it, so I looked away. (I hate guts) Anyways I hear the thud and look in my rear-view to see the thing hop away unhurt. We pulled over and realized it was the body kit on the car that acted as a plow and just pushed it to the side. Possums are quite large in general so we were both happy. No damage done to the car or the animal. Plenty of laughs!

I hit a deer going 70 last year. Luckily it was in my Dodge Ram off road edition. I cracked the headlight, cracked the bumper, and the deer went spinning and put a dent in the fender and my step bar. Insurance covered it all. Glad I only had a 250 deductible. If I had hit it in my Z id probably be dead.

Let your insurance handle it especially with the Passenger side bag going off.
