Cops shoot 350z driver after car chase

John Harris, a neighbor across the street for more than eight years, said Christmas was a nice man, but called him "an eccentric" who continually washed and polished all of his vehicles "the way some people can't stop washing their hands."

i was in a high speed chase when i was 17, but i would never have tried to ram a cop car or officer on foot. the guy probably got scared when the police cornered him and made a stupid move that got him killed. either that or he just "lost it" like alot of people do in our society nowadays (i.e. post office, job site, school shooting), or he was high on meth or something. its really sad that a lifetime of emotions and effort ends up so tragically. its unfortunate that incidents like this are becomming almost an everyday occurence. no one is exempt as these tragic events become less of an isolated and more of an everday occurence. it seems like the cops couldve blocked him in and extricated him out of the car, as opposed to jumping out of their cars to try and stop the driver. but then again the might have thought he was gonna stop, but he started to move again.

regarding washing his car: My neighbors could say the same about me. I have washed my car every day for the last 2 weeks. I am zaino-ing an area at a time, and it has taken that long to get the whole car covered with 2 coats. I overlap coats and do one after another on one area of the car then move on. It is fun to wash a car that you care about.
I use a $100 dollar boars hair brush set from griots to wash, a 225mph blower to dry. The body never gets touched. Not a *SINGLE* scratch, swirl, ding or haze on the entire car and I intend to keep it that way.
That doesn't make me *SICK* does it?

RedHerring2, yes that may make you a little sick. Just kidding friend. Yea but anyways, that is a sad story. I know and understand just like I am sure most of you do and have seen on tv and heard in the news, that if someone is being chased and he turns his car on a police officer that officer is now in mortal danger and does have the right to defend himself just as any other man or woman on this planet does. Never never never point your car at a cop and hit the gas or even revving the motor and acting like you are going to go towards him, HE WILL SHOOT YOU DEAD. That is a fact. It is in there training at the academy. It is just like pointing a gun at a cop, loaded or not loaded. The cop does not know.

I dont think it was Doc. A normal non Z owner would snap after just applying 1 coat of Zaino for the 1st time. Doc has 50 coats now. And he drinks the Z7.

His car is red and his name is Christmas...those cops killed Santa. Ok humor in poor taste but hey, he tried to run over some cops during a chase. I think all chases should end up like this.
