Yikes.
You miss your car more than your wife/girlfriend?
First thank you for your service to our nation. There is no greater citizen than those who raise their right hands and promise to give their lives in defense of our nation.
I spent seven years at sea across three different wars (Iraq/Iran, GWI and GWII) during 24 years of service. If I might give you a tip I would recommend that you focus on the important stuff.
I would hope that your girlfriend/wife is more important that your car. People are important, chucks of metal, plastic, and rubber aren't no matter how pretty they are. Tuesday I lost a good friend of 9 years to cancer. If my mint condition 35th Anniversary Z was stolen out of my garage tonight I could go down the dealership Saturday and write a check for another Z.
We are all here for such very very short times. A lifetime is but the briefest flash of time in history so it must be filled with the stuff that really matters.
Good luck and be safe.

Come on, I've been to Jersey and trust me, a desert is a big upgrade from Jersey although all the people who barely speak English shooting at you should make you feel at home.

I'm with you man, I was deployed from September 08 to April this year. I bought my Z about 2 months after deploying...it was crazy how much I wanted to get back and drive it. So after being back to Germany for a couple months, I finally flew home a few weeks ago and took possession of it and shipped it over here. Then I got news I am soon deploying yet again.
